Guy has been in the United States for over two years now. He has applied for refugee status and is currently waiting to hear about his application. For two years, sponsors and donors raised funds to cover Guy's educational and living expenses and he was able to complete four semesters of college with our help. Recently, Guy obtained work authorization and decided to take time off of school to look for work while he awaits the results of his refugee application. Your support helps Guy as he makes the transition from being fully supported by donations to becoming self-sufficient and independent. Donations made through the Fundly website now go directly to Guy to aid him in the transition process as well.
